TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo will be hosting the 2022 Mid-American Conference Women's Golf Championships at Stone Oak Country in Holland, Ohio. The tournament will be held on Friday-Sunday, April 22-24.
"We have the opportunity to host once every 10 years, and we are thrilled to bring the MAC Championships to Northwest Ohio," Head Coach Jenny Coluccio said. "This is another prime opportunity to showcase elite women's collegiate golf here in Toledo which is exciting, especially coming off the heels of the Solheim Cup this past September and the annual LPGA Marathon Classic."
Coluccio is extremely appreciative for all the help that Stone Oak has provided as the host course.
"The members and staff of Stone Oak Country Club have been wonderful to work with our planning," Coluccio said. "Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the entire club for embracing the event and welcoming the MAC with excitement."
Stone Oak Country Club's PGA Head Golf Professional Milton Carswell Jr. said, "Having the opportunity to be the host professional for the MAC Championships showcasing some of the best female collegiate golfers in the country is a huge honor. The Oak will be a great test of golf for the participants. The teams and individuals with the most creativity off the tee and around the greens will be at the top of the leaderboard on the final day of the tournament. Good luck to all participants!"
Volunteering opportunities are available in the areas of walking scorers, food and water distribution, range attendance and spotters.

Stone Oak Country Club's original course was designed by S.P. Jermaine and consisted of nine unique holes carved among the dense forest and swamp lands. Almost immediately, an expansion project began. Initially three holes were added, then two more. By the late 40's, the completion of nine additional holes was achieved. In 1954, golf course architect Robert Bruce Harris redesigned the 18-hole golf course that is present today. Stone Oak Country Club hosted the LPGA Jamie Farr tournament (presently the Marathon Classic) from 1984-87 when it was known as Glengarry Country Club.Â
