MADISON, Wis. – Senior Lukas Clark carded an even-par 72 to lead the Toledo men's golf team in Sunday's opening round of Wisconsin's Badger Invitational.

Clark is tied for 14^th place in the individual standings. He tallied four birdies and four bogeys during his round and was within a stroke of par during all 18 holes.

Sophomores Jamie Tofte Nielsen and Barend Botha are right behind Clark and tied for 24^th and 37^th place, respectively, with rounds of one-over par 73 and two-over par 74. Nielsen and Botha each tallied a team-high five birdies today but were hurt by bogeys late in their rounds. Nielsen was at two-under before a double bogey at the 17^th and another bogey on the 18^th. Botha was at one-under until a bogey on the 17^th and double on the 18^th.

Rounding out the Rocket lineup are senior David Amm (T-55^th/76) and junior Palmer Yenrick (T-78^th/81).

The second round will be held tomorrow with the tournament's final round scheduled for Tuesday.
