TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo Athletic Department announced the addition of Aaron Wass to its athletic training staff. Wass will be working primarily with the football program.
"We are thrilled to have Aaron join our athletic training program," said Senior Associate Athletic Director for Health & Wellness Brian Jones. "Aaron brings a significant amount of both clinical and administrative experiences that will benefit our program. We are excited to have him and his wife Kayla join our Toledo Sports Medicine Family."
Wass has served as the athletic trainer for the football and women's basketball programs at the University of Findlay for the last four years. Â Prior to this, he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Eastern Michigan for two years (2015-17) where he worked with the football program and earned his master's degree in exercise physiology.
A Hudsonville, Mich. native, Wass graduated from Cedarville (Ohio) University in 2015 with his bachelor's degree in athletic training. During that time, he worked with the Yellowjackets' men's basketball and baseball programs in addition to completing an internship with the NCAA Division II Central State University football program.
