STOW, Ohio – The Toledo women's golf team shot its best round of the tournament on Saturday to finish in fourth place at this year's Mid-American Conference Championships. The event was played at the par-72, 6,277-yard Silver Lake Country Club in Stow, Ohio.
"Our team came out today with a different perspective and it paid off," Head Coach
Jenny Coluccio said. "Our goal was to win our group today and we did. I'm proud of how our team learned and absorbed every time we teed it up this season. The results don't always show that growth, but it is happening in a big way beneath the surface. They play with so much heart and desire to perform for each other. We are continuing to learn what exactly that means for each person and how best to use that energy on the course."
