Â
Freshman

The Clay, N.Y. native scored 19 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, giving her two double-doubles in her first two college games. Following Saturday's action, Cook was one of just 12 players across Division I with two double-doubles in the season's first two games, and one of just two freshmen to accomplish that feat.
Â
Junior
Quinesha Lockett led all players with 23 points, her second straight game with the same point total. Classmate

Rocket Notes
- Jessica Cook is in rare air, having tallied double-doubles in her first two collegiate basketball games. Cook is one of 12 players in the Division I ranks to have two double-doubles in the season's first two games, and one of just two freshmen to achieve that feat (Rheme Ogele, Portland State).
- Cook is the first Rocket to have a double-double in consecutive games since Kaayla McIntyre achieved that feat during the 2018-19 season.
- One more Cook note: she is leading the MAC and ranks fifth nationally in offensive rebounding, averaging 7.50 offensive boards per game. Cook has 15 offensive rebounds in her first two games…nobody else in the MAC has more than eight. The only player in the country with more offensive rebounds than Jessica Cook is Josie Williams of Utah Valley.
- Quinesha Lockett and Jessica Cook both had double-doubles in Toledo's win at Oakland. Lockett scored 23 points and had a career-high 12 rebounds, while Cook opened her collegiate career with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
- No other team in the MAC had multiple players with double-doubles in their season opener.
- Dating back to last season, Quinesha Lockett has scored at least 20 points in five straight games. She is averaging 24.4 over those five games.
- Sophia Wiard led the MAC in assist/turnover ratio last season (1.9) and is tied for third this season through two games (3.67). She has 11 assists to three turnovers entering Wednesday's game.
- Wiard has been stuffing the stat sheet these first two games. She has at least 10 points, five assists, four rebounds, and two steals in each of Toledo's first two games.
- Toledo scored 84 points in its season opener at Oakland last Tuesday. That is the most points scored in the first game of a season for UT since 2007-08, when it scored 87 points against Purdue Fort Wayne. The most points in a season opener on the road prior to Tuesday was 90 in a win at Michigan to begin the 1992-93 season.
- The Rockets are now 32-15 all-time in home openers and have won five of their last six after defeating Wright State at Savage Arena on Saturday.
- Toledo improved to 26-22 all-time in season openers and has now won five of its last six. Under head coach Tricia Cullop, Toledo is 9-5 in season-opening games.
