I-475 Westbound Closed for Saturday's Football Game

TOLEDO, Ohio – Rocket football fans who use westbound I-475 to get to the Glass Bowl will need to find an alternate route for this Saturday's game vs. Western Michigan. Kickoff for the contest at 3:30 p.m.

Westbound I-475 will be closed between I-75 (exit 204) and US-23 (exit 14) from Friday, Oct. 22 at 8:00 p.m. through Monday, Oct. 25 at 6:00 a.m. Eastbound I-475 will remain open.

A list of alternative routes to and from the Glass Bowl are listed below:

Alternative routes to the Glass Bowl (going to the game)
I-75 northbound traffic - three options

Take exit 192 - 475/23 north to Maumee/Ann Arbor to the Dorr Street exit. Follow Dorr Street to campus.
Take exit 201 A - 25 South Collingwood Blvd.
- Turn left on Collingwood to Dorr Street. Turn left on Dorr Street. Follow Dorr Street to campus.
Take exit 203 A - Bancroft Street. Follow Bancroft Street to campus.
- Area 9/10/18 parking passes
  - Take Bancroft to Westwood. Turn left on Westwood, right on Oakwood to East Rocket Dr.
- Area 3/4/5 parking passes
  - Take Bancroft to Westwood. Turn left on Westwood, right on Oakwood and right onto Douglas.
- General admission parking (Area 19)
  - Take Bancroft to Westwood. Turn left on Westwood, follow to parking Area 19.

I-75 southbound traffic (from Michigan)

Take Exit 203 – Detroit Avenue. Turn right on Detroit Avenue and then turn right onto Bancroft Street. Follow Bancroft Street to campus. Follow above directions from Bancroft Street.

Northbound US-23 traffic

Take Dorr Street westbound to the I-475/23 exit.

Note: All entrance ramps to eastbound I-475 will remain open.
