Keshaun Saunders were each recognized on Wednesday with the announcement of the Mid-American Conference postseason honors.

Marreon Jackson earned Second-Team All-MAC honors after receiving honorable-mention accolades a season ago. Knapke was a Third-Team All-MAC selection, while
Willie Jackson received Honorable-Mention All-MAC status. Saunders earned a spot on the All-MAC Freshman Team, marking the third straight season a Rocket has been on the squad.

A 6-foot-1, 190-pound guard,
Marreon Jackson ranks second in MAC with 19.8 ppg and 5.4 apg to go along with a league-best 3.1 treys per game. Jackson, who set a school record this season with 99 three-point field goals made, leads the Rockets in free-throw percentage (.816), free throws made (146) and free throws attempted (179) as well as points and assists. Jackson has scored in double figures in 21 straight contests and ranked second in league play with 21.6 ppg. He registered four 30-point outings with 37 at Central Michigan, 36 at Akron, 32 at Kent State and 31 at Bowling Green.

Knapke, a 6-foot-11, 245-pound center, is being honored for the first time by the league's coaches. He ranks second on the team with 15.8 ppg and 8.2 rpg and leads the Rockets with a MAC-best 1.9 bpg. Knapke also paces Toledo with a 39.4 three-point field-goal percentage, ranks second on the team with a 77.1 free-throw percentage and is the only player in the conference to rank in the Top 10 in points, rebounds and blocked shots. He also set school records this season for blocked shots in a game (10), season (61) and career (197).

A 6-foot-6, 212-pound forward,
Willie Jackson is averaging a double-double (12.3 ppg, 12.0 rpg) and has been one of the nation's top rebounders this season. He is the only player in the MAC averaging double digits in rebounding and ranks third nationally with 12.0 rpg. He leads the Rockets with a 49.3 field-goal percentage and is also tied for sixth in the nation with 19 double-doubles, including a 22-point, 16-rebound effort in Toledo's first-round MAC Tournament win over Western Michigan on Monday.

Saunders is the sixth Rocket to earn a spot on the MAC All-Freshman Team in Head Coach
Tod Kowalczyk's tenure, joining Julius Brown (2011-12), Nathan Boothe (2012-13), Jonathan Williams (2013-14),
Marreon Jackson (2017-18) and
AJ Edu (2018-19). The 6-foot-5, 190-pound Brampton, Ont. native averaged 7.7 ppg and started 12 of 32 contests in his first season in a Rocket uniform. Saunders posted a 39.1 three-point field-goal percentage in league play, a figure that tied for ninth in the conference.

Toledo will return to action on Thursday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. in Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse when it meets No. 2 seed Bowling Green in the 2020 MAC Tournament Quarterfinals. The Rockets opened tournament play on Monday with a 76-73 home victory over No. 10 seed Western Michigan in a first-round game.
