BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Toledo swimming and diving team enjoyed a stellar performance on day three of the 2020 Mid-American Conference Championships finishing with four individual podium spots. Junior

Interim head coachÂ
Brie Globig was pleased with the Rockets' overall performance, which saw them sitting in fifth place with 206 points three days through the four-day meet.
"We had an amazing day today," Globig said. "Izzy's performance in the 200 free was great to see, and to have her and Kennedy in the A-finals was great. We also had Bec and Ashley in the A-finals, which is a great thing for our program and swimmers. I can't wait to see what we can accomplish tomorrow."
Jones came out of preliminaries with the third-fastest time in program history at 1:47.73. After posting a time that sent her into the finals seeded first, the Ivinghoe, England native was able to drop one-hundredth of a second and finish second with a 1:47.72. Redshirt freshman
