TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo announced its 2020 football schedule today, which features six homes games. The Rockets open the 2020 season at Tulsa on Sept. 5 before hosting their home opener on Sept. 12 vs. San Diego State.
 
Other highlights of the home schedule are a clash with Bowling Green in the annual Battle of I-75 on Oct. 17 and the Homecoming Game vs. Ohio on Oct. 3. The other three home games are a non-conference battle with Central Connecticut State (Sept. 26), and mid-week contests vs. Central Michigan (Nov. 11) and Ball State (Nov. 24).
 
Road games include a Sept. 19 matchup at Michigan State, the Rockets' first contest against the Spartans in almost 100 years. The four league road games are at Western Michigan (Oct. 10), Eastern Michigan (Oct. 24), Akron (Oct. 31) and Northern Illinois (Nov. 17).
