12/11/2020 10:46:00 AM

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo men's basketball team (3-3, 1-0 MAC) continues its busy non-conference schedule when it hosts Kansas City (2-3, 0-0 Summit) on Saturday, Dec. 12 in Savage Arena. The contest will be streamed on ESPN3 with a tip-off time of 12:00 p.m.

The Rockets lead the Mid-American Conference with six games played since opening their season on Nov. 25. Toledo is scheduled to play four more games in the next 11 days, giving the Rockets 10 contests over a 28-day span.

Toledo features a balanced offense with four players averaging 13 ppg or more. Junior Setric Millner Jr. and senior Marreon Jackson lead the way with 15.5 and 15.3 ppg, respectively. Also scoring in double figures are freshman Ryan Rollins (13.5) and senior Spencer Littleson (13.0). All four have led the Rockets in scoring this season.

Millner is grabbing a team-high 8.0 rpg, while Jackson is tallying a team-best 5.3 apg and 1.7 spg. Littleson leads the Rockets with 22 three-point field goals and a MAC-best 51.2 3PTFG%.

Littleson and Millner Jr. paced Toledo with 14 points apiece in Wednesday's 91-71 setback at Michigan.  The Rockets finished with a 40.6 FG%, but a 55.2 percent from the field in the second half couldn't offset a 28.6 percent clip in the opening 20 minutes.

Kansas City has lost three straight games following Thursday's 90-61 defeat at Minnesota. Senior Brandon McKissic is pacing the Roos with 14.0 ppg, while junior Marvin Nesbitt Jr. is tallying 13.0 ppg and a team-high 7.8 rpg.
