TOLEDO, Ohio - Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk announced the signing of Arnor Eythorsson (Selfoss, Iceland) and Elijah Wilson (Lithonia, Ga.) to national letters of intent to attend the University of Toledo on Wednesday. Eythorsson and Wilson are both slated to join the Rocket men's basketball program prior to the start of the 2021-22 academic year.

A 6-foot-7 forward, Eythorsson averaged 16.1 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 2.1 apg and 2.1 spg last year for Selfoss-Basket. He also shot 62.0 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from three-point range.
"Arnor is an interesting prospect who we are thrilled to have join our program," Kowalczyk said. "I like his size and length and how he shoots the basketball from the perimeter. Arnor has very good upside and will obviously need some time to adjust to American basketball."

A 6-foot-5 guard, Wilson averaged 20.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 3.0 apg last year for the Carolina Basketball Academy. As a senior at Mountain View High School in 2018-19, he tallied 15.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg and 6.0 apg.
"Elijah is a really talented guard and I'm super excited about him committing to us," Kowalczyk said. "He possesses an elite skill level, can really shoot the ball and I think he can come in and compete right away. Elijah also has great length and could develop into a very good defender."
