TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo carded its best round of the tournament with an eight-over par 292 on Tuesday to wrap up the 15th-annual Inverness Intercollegiate at the historic par-71, 7,172-yard Inverness Club.

Sophomore David Amm topped the Rockets' efforts today with a one-under par 70 and finished tied for 27th place at seven-over par 220.  Senior Nate Thomson carded Toledo's next best round with a one-over par 72 to finish in a 57th-place tie at 15-over 228. Rounding out the Rocket lineup was senior Grant Godfrey (T-46th/225), senior Rasmus Broholt Lind (T-57th/228) and sophomore Muhammed Afif Mohd Fathi (83rd/237).

Freshmen Logan Hooper (T-71st/233), NJ Botha (T-79th/236), and Jack Doody (T-84th/238) competed as individuals with Hooper notching a two-over par 73 in today's action.

"We had a better day of golf today, especially from David, Nate and Logan but we still need to put together 18 holes," Head Coach Jeff Roope said. "I saw a lot of learning from our guys throughout the tournament, and we're going to continue to get better as the year progresses if we keep growing and learning."

Texas Tech captured the team title by notching an impressive 12-under par 272 today to finish at four-over par 856. The Red Raiders outdistanced defending champion Tennessee (864) by eight strokes and Notre Dame (865) by nine shots. Texas Tech finished two strokes shy of the course record for a round behind Michigan's 270 in 2016. The 54-hole record is held by Auburn (843) in 2016.

Michigan State's James Piot and Texas Tech's Andy Lopez shared medalist honors at two-under par 211.
