SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Toledo women's soccer team ended its two-game California trip with a 2-0 loss to Sacramento State in Sacramento on Sunday afternoon. The Hornets (5-1-2) were able to sneak two late goals past
Madison Perrin to secure the win over the Rockets (2-5-0).
After over 80 minutes of scoreless play, Hornet midfielder Samantha Craig took advantage of an unlucky touch by a Rocket defender to set up Kylee Kim-Bustillo for a bullet to the right side of the net in the 81st minute. The Hornets added another one seven minutes later when a foul nearly 40-yards out allowed for a Hornet free kick. The kick was sent high and ricocheted off the crossbar directly to Camila Fonseca's feet, who buried it into the back of the net.
