Rockets in 10th at Stitch Intercollegiate After Play Suspended

CARY, N.C. – The Toledo men's golf team sat in 10th place at 15-over par when play was suspended at 4:55 p.m. during Friday's second round at N.C. State's Stitch Intercollegiate.
The Rockets were three-over with approximately six holes remaining when everyone was called off the course due to approaching inclement weather. Play is scheduled to resume at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow. The third and final round has been canceledÂ
Freshman David Amm paced the Rockets in the opening round with an even-par 72, while freshman Muhammed Afif Mohd Fathi is setting the pace at one-under par in the second 18 holes of the day.
Junior Rasmus Broholt Lind and senior Duncan McNeill are also playing well in Round 2 at even-par and one-over, respectively.
Amm and McNeill are tied for 39th place in the individual standings at three-over par with Mohd Fathi tied for 47th place at four-over par. Lind is tied for 52nd place at five-over par, while sophomore Grant Godfrey is tied for 78th place at 11-over par.
No. 21 Louisville leads the 14-team field at 11-under par, five strokes in front of No. 3 Wake Forest and No. 20 Liberty.
