TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo (14-7, 6-4 MAC) will play its fourth Mid-American Conference East Division opponent over the last five games on Wednesday, Feb. 13 when it hosts frontrunner Ohio (20-2, 9-2 MAC). Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. in Savage Arena and will be shown on ESPN+.

UT is 60-29 (.674) against MAC East Division opponents over the last 10-plus seasons under head coach Tricia Cullop, including a 10-5 ledger (.667) vs. the Bobcats. Thus far in 2018-19, Toledo has tallied a 2-4 (.333) record against cross-division foes.

In conjunction with tomorrow's cross-division showdown, UT will host the second-annual Rockets' Wine Night. Heidelberg Distributing will feature 11 of their most popular wines in the Fetterman Practice Gym beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Cost for the event is $30.00 and includes a game ticket, 10 wine samples and delicious appetizers. Tickets to the event are $23.00 for fans who have already purchased their game tickets. The cost for designated drivers is $19.00 and includes game ticket and appetizers with soft drinks.

UT is coming off a 63-43 home triumph against Eastern Michigan on Saturday.

Toledo put the defensive clamps on the ultra-athletic Eagles (10-11, 3-7 MAC), holding them to 27.7 percent (18-of-65) from the field, including a frigid 12.5 percent (2-of-16) from three-point land. The Rockets limited EMU to season lows in both overall field-goal percentage and points. EMU came into the MAC West Division contest averaging 63.0 points on 37.9 percent (458-of-1,210) from the floor.

Sophomore Nakiah Black paced the Midnight Blue & Gold with a game-high 21 points on the strength of a contest-best four triples. Black also tallied five rebounds and four helpers in a team-high 37 minutes.

Senior Kaayla McIntyre added 14 points, a game-high 13 caroms, a contest-best three rejections and two thefts to post her fifth double-double this season, and 14th as a Rocket.

UT, which is 8-2 at home, also benefited from eight points by senior Mikaela Boyd and a game-high seven dimes from junior Mariella Santucci to run their record to a perfect 4-0 against division opponents this year.

As a team, Toledo shot 46.3 percent (25-of-54) from the field, including 38.9 percent (7-of-18) from three-point range, and finished with a sizable 44-38 rebounding advantage.

For the season, the Rockets continue to be fueled offensively by the quartet of McIntyre, Black, Boyd and Santucci, who are averaging 15.5, 10.4, 9.8 and 9.6 ppg, respectively. This group accounts for 67.3 percent (941-of-1,399) of the team's scoring.

UT will tangle with a highly-skilled Ohio team that has won its last three games and eight of nine overall. Most recently, the Bobcats secured an impressive 78-75 road win at MAC West Division leader Central Michigan on Saturday. Cierra Hooks led the Bobcats with a contest-tying high 28 points on the road, followed by Erica Johnson, Gabby Burris, Amani Burke and Dominique Doseck with 14, 13, 11 and 10, respectively.

Ohio, which is a perfect 10-0 away from home, possesses a balanced offense with all five starters averaging at least 11.9 points per game led by Hooks' and Johnson's 17.3 and 14.4 ppg, respectively.

Tomorrow's MAC cross-division game will pit UT's stingy defense against Ohio's high-powered offense.

Toledo is currently first in the league in scoring defense (59.7 ppg), second in overall field-goal percentage defense (.383, 459-of-1,199) and third in three-point field-goal percentage defense (.300, 116-of-387), while Ohio is first (82.5 ppg), second (.456, 632-of-1,385) and first (.385, 233-of-605) in the same categories, respectively.

In addition, the Rockets are surrendering 5.5 triples (116) per contest, the third-lowest mark in the conference, while the Bobcats are making a league-best 10.6 treys (233).

UT and Ohio will meet for the only time during the regular season and 71st time overall. The Rockets lead the all-time series, 45-25, but have dropped five of the last six meetings against their intrastate foe. UT also holds a 28-8 edge in games played in at home.

A year ago, the teams split their two meetings with the home team emerging victorious each time. The Rockets suffered a 78-61 road setback against the Bobcats in the Convo (Dec. 31), before securing a 75-57 home triumph in Savage Arena (Jan. 10).

Following tomorrow's contest, the Rockets will travel to MAC West Division rival Northern Illinois (14-8, 6-4 MAC) on Saturday, Feb. 16. The opening tip against the Huskies is slated for 1:00 p.m. (CT) in the Convocation Center and will be streamed on ESPN3.
