TOLEDO, Ohio – Head coach
TJ Buchholz announced on Thursday that forward Grace Turski will be joining the Toledo women's soccer team for the 2020 season.
"We are excited to have Grace joining our program next fall," said Buchholz. "Grace had a tremendous four years at St. Ursula Academy and has really developed into one of the best attacking players in the area. Grace is not only a great goal scorer, but she is also a terrific passer in the attack."
Turski played soccer at St. Ursula Academy. She is a three-time first-team all-conference member and a two-time all-district first-team and all-state second-team honoree. Turski was named 2019 Three Rivers Athletic Conference Player of the Year and was a member of 2016 and 2019 conference championship teams.
Turski is a member of the Pacesetter 01 Villa Red club soccer team and is a three-time Ohio North State Champion and three-time Midwest Regional qualifier. In 2018, Turski and the Pacesetter 01 Villa Red qualified for the Club Soccer National Championships. She also played in the national league in 2018 and 2019.
Turski is no stranger to the University of Toledo, as both her father and sister are UToledo alumni.
