SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Toledo will play its final road game during the month of November on Wednesday night at Notre Dame (2-2). The game is slated for 7:00 p.m. in the Purcell Pavilion and will be shown on ACCNX.

The Rockets have posted a 105-83 (.559) mark against opponents away from home under 12th-year head coach Tricia Cullop.

Toledo is coming off a 60-42 setback vs. Dayton on Nov. 9 in its home opener before 3,883 fans in Savage Arena. The Rockets fell behind early and could not recover against the Atlantic 10 member Flyers en route to suffering their first loss of the season.

Junior Tatyana Davis led the Midnight Blue & Gold with a career-tying best 13 points. Davis shot 5-of-9 from the field in 28 minutes off the bench, including an impressive 3-of-4 from three-point land, to score in double figures for a third time as a Rocket. She also registered 13 points vs. arch-rival Bowling Green on Feb. 2, 2019.

Senior Mariella Santucci and freshman Quinesha Lockett were Toledo's next high scorers with six points each.

As a team, the Rockets were limited to 31.3 percent (15-of-48) from the floor, including 25.0 percent (4-of-16) from beyond the arc, and 50.0 percent (8-of-16) from the free throw line.

Shakeela Fowler paced the Atlantic 10 Conference member Flyers (3-1) with a game-high 16 points and a contest-best six assists, followed by Julia Chandler with 10 points. The visitors also benefited from nine points each by Erin Whalen and Jenna Giacone to defeat Toledo for a second-straight year.

Dayton finished with a 53-28 edge on the glass and a 34-18 advantage in points in the paint.

Overall this year, Toledo possesses a balanced attack with Davis, junior Tanaya Beacham, Santucci and senior transfer Arianne Whitaker averaging 10.0, 9.0, 8.5 and 8.5 ppg, respectively.

The Rockets will square off against a Notre Dame team that suffered a 72-69 home setback to No. 16 Michigan State on Nov. 14. Sam Brunelle and Katlyn Gilbert led the Fighting Irish with 19 points each against the Spartans.

The Fighting Irish rallied from seven down in the fourth quarter and had a chance to tie the game at the buzzer, but their three-point attempt did not fall.

Notre Dame returns six letterwinners from last season's 35-4 NCAA Championships Finalist squad, guided by 33rd-year head coach Muffet McGraw.

Toledo and Notre Dame will meet for the fourth time in the last five years and 10th time in the overall series. The Fighting Irish have won the last five matchups against the Rockets and lead the all-time series, 6-3.

A season ago, Toledo suffered a 72-56 setback against No. 2 Notre Dame before 6,059 fans in Savage Arena, the third-largest crowd in program history (Nov. 8).

The Rockets fed off the electric crowd all game and gave the second-ranked Fighting Irish everything it could handle, as the contest featured four ties and six lead changes.
