TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's swimming and diving team welcomes Oakland to the UToledo Student Recreation Center on Friday, Oct. 18 for a 5:30 p.m. dual meet. Following Friday's meet, the Rockets will head to Youngstown, Ohio for a Saturday afternoon dual meet against Youngstown State. Saturday's meet is set to begin at 3:00 p.m.

"Our swimmers and divers been putting in great training since the start of the season. Coach Agostino and I look forward to watching that hard work translate into successful swims and dives at our first dual meets this weekend. Our athletes will be challenged by both opponents, so we look forward to seeing what we can learn from a great weekend of competition."

ROCKETS AGAINST THE GOLDEN GRIZZLIES
The Rockets are 8-8-0 against Oakland University, falling to the Golden Grizzlies in the last two meetings. Last season, the Rockets fell to the Grizzlies, 182-117. The Rockets are 6-4-0 when welcoming the Grizzlies to the Glass City. 

ROCKETS AGAINST THE PENGUINS
The Rockets and Penguins have met once since the Rockets' inception in 1991. The two teams met in early November of last season, with Toledo claiming a 188-105 victory over Youngstown State. Returning to the pool this year are Jovana Duric, Joelle Gallais, and Duda Sales who each won two individual events. Lisa Eriksson and Ashley Jeffreys took first in one individual event each. The Rockets' collectively won two relay events against the Penguins last season.
