Toledo, Ohio— The University of Toledo women's volleyball team continues conference play this weekend when it welcomes Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan to Savage Arena.
The Rockets play host to the Chippewas on Friday at 7:00 p.m. before taking on the Eagles on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. In addition to being streamed on ESPN3, Saturday's match will also be broadcast live locally on BCSN.

Weekend Promotions
Saturday, September 29 will be Superhero night at Savage Arena. Free admission will be offered to anyone who comes to the match dressed as a superhero. Also, there will be a special edition Toledo volleyball Superhero-themed poster available at the match on Saturday. After the conclusion of the contest, fans will be able to get autographs from the team.

Scouting the Opponent
Central Michigan: The Chippewas are 3-11 entering the weekend and have lost five matches in a row, winning just three sets in that time. They rank at the bottom of the MAC in both hitting percentage (.151) and opponent hitting percentage (.237). Kalina Smith (2.85 kills/set) and Lyza Myers (2.62 kills/set, .249 hitting percentage) are the offensive leaders for Central Michigan, and three different players are averaging over five assists per set: Grace Butler, Kendall Braate, and Marissa Grant.
Eastern Michigan: EMU opened up the conference season with MAC victories over Central Michigan and Kent State. The Eagles are 10-6 entering the weekend and will play at Ball State on Friday night. They are limiting opponents to a .146 hitting percentage, best in the conference, and are averaging a league-best 2.35 blocks per set. Cassie Haut is the team's leading blocker (1.25/set) while Alyssa LaFace is among the nation's best on the defensive end, averaging 6.16 digs per set.
