Toledo Competes Against Maine on Thursday at Home

TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo (4-1) continues its tough non-conference slate when it competes against Maine (4-2) on Thursday, Nov. 30 in Savage Arena. The opening tip against the Black Bears is slated for 7:00 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN3.
The 2017 Mid-American Conference Champions are in the midst of a nine-game home winning streak and have posted an impressive 64-16 (.800) mark against non-league opponents under 10th-year head coach Tricia Cullop.
UT enters tomorrow's match-up on the heels of a 74-57 victory at Iona on Monday that extended its overall winning streak to four games.
Junior Mikaela Boyd paced three Rockets in double figures with a season-high 14 points and a season-best 11 caroms in a collegiate-best 39 minutes to post her 11th-career double-double.
Junior Kaayla McIntyre and senior Jada Woody added 10 points each to help the Midnight Blue & Gold improve to 11-0 all-time against teams from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).
UT, which did not trail in the contest, also received nine points from senior Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott and sophomore Mariella Santucci, as well as seven by junior Sarah St-Fort and junior Olivia Cunningham to win its first road game this year.
As a team, the Rockets connected on a season-high 54.2 percent (26-of-48) from the field, including a sensational 54.5 percent (6-of-11) from beyond the arc, and 76.2 percent (16-of-21) from the charity stripe.
UT, which is 3-0 at Savage Arena this season, is fueled offensively by McIntyre, Bravo-Harriott, Cunningham, Boyd and Santucci, who are averaging 13.2, 12.2, 10.6, 7.4 and 7.0 ppg, respectively.

Fanny Wadling led the Black Bears with a career-high 17 points and nine rebounds against KSU. Julie Brosseau added 16 points, seven boards and six assists, while Tanesha Sutton recorded her second double-double of the year with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Brosseau averaged 18.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists to earn a spot on the Thanksgiving All-Tournament Team.
Maine features an offense with three players scoring at least 9.5 points led by Blanca Millan's 18.3 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 3.2 spg. They are 1-1 away from home this season.
