Toledo Announces MAC Opponents for 2017 Football Schedule

             TOLEDO, OH - The University of Toledo announced its Mid-American Conference opponents for the 2017 season today. The Rockets will host four MAC opponents: Akron, Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois and Western Michigan. Toledo will face Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan and Ohio on the road.
             Dates and times for the games will be released later by the Mid-American Conference.
             Toledo will open the 2017 season at home vs. Elon on Thursday, Aug. 31. The other non-conference home game is a matchup vs. Tulsa on Sept.16. The Rockets will travel to Nevada (Sept. 9) and Miami (Sept. 23) to round out the non-conference slate.
