Cancun Challenge Schedule Announced

FORT COLLINS, CO – Tournament officials have announced the schedule for the 10-team field of the 2016 Women's Cancun Challenge. The Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya just south of Cancun, Mexico will once again play host to this spectacular event, slated for Nov. 24-26.
The four-team field of the Mayan Division will feature Northeastern (Colonial), Stanford (Pac-12), Purdue (Big Ten), and Wichita State (Missouri Valley). Teams will battle in a round-robin format, playing the other three teams across the Thanksgiving Holiday break. Davidson (Atlantic 10), Idaho State (Big Sky), Iowa (Big Ten), James Madison (Colonial), TOLEDO (Mid-American)Â and UCLA (Pac-12) make up the Riviera Division. Each of those teams will play two games at the Cancun Challenge.Â
The Rockets are slated to open the tourney against Davidson on Thursday, Nov. 24 at 4:00 p.m. (ET). UT will wrap up tournament action versus UCLA on Friday, Nov. 25 at 6:30 p.m. (ET).
