LAKE WORTH, FL – Toledo stands in 16th place following the opening 18 holes at the FAU Slomin Autism Invite on Friday. The three-day tournament is taking place on the North Course at the Fountains Country Club (Par-71, 6,876 Yards) and being hosted by Florida Atlantic University.
The Rockets posted a team score of 16-over par 300, 24 shots behind leader Connecticut (276, -8).

Senior Otto Black is pacing UT at one-under par 70 and stands tied for 19th place. Black recorded a squad-best six birdies in today's opening round, including a hole-in-one on the last hole. Â

Sophomore Stephen Watts and senior Thomas Shindler are the next closest Rockets at five-over par 76 to sit tied for 72nd place.

Rounding out Toledo's lineup are freshman Jamie Knipe (78) and sophomore Colin Joseph (79) at seven- and eight-over par, respectively.

Also competing in the event for the Rockets as an individual is freshman Cameron Mills at nine-over par 80.
