
Four Rockets Named Academic All-MAC; Kerin a Three-Time Selection

TOLEDO, OH – Four University of Toledo student-athletes were named to the 2013 Academic All-MAC football team, the conference office announced today.
The four honorees were junior placekicker Jeremiah Detmer (Hilliard, OH), senior center Zac Kerin (Delaware, OH), junior offensive lineman Greg Mancz (Cincinnati, OH) and senior long snapper Matt Wall (Centerville, OH).
Kerin made the Academic All-MAC team for the third consecutive season. Mancz is a two-time selection.
Rockets making honorable mention Academic All-MAC were Mike Ebert (Sandusky, OH-Perkins), Vladimir Emilien (Lauderhill, FL-Plantation), Ethan Kagy (Tiffin, OH-Columbian), Chase Nelson (Edina, MN-Edina), Zac Rosenbauer (Lima, OH-Shawnee) and Alex Zmolik (Port Huron, MI-Port Huron).
“I'm extremely proud of the student-athletes who made the Academic All-MAC team, and proud of all the young men in our program who are working very hard in the classroom,” said head coach Matt Campbell.

Successful on 36 of his last 37 field-goal attempts over the last two seasons… First in MAC and tied for 11th in nation and with 1.6 FGs/game...Second in MAC and third nationally in FG percentage (95.0%)…50 percent (38 -76) of his kickoffs were for touchbacks.
