CLEVELAND, OH - Jacy Dyer became the third different Rocket swimmer to earn the MAC Swimmer of the Week award after a record-breaking performance at the Rutgers Invitational this past weekend. Dyer set a new MAC and school record in the 1650 Free, breaking her own record.
Dyer joins teammates Carly Harter (10/20) and Laura Lindsay (10/27) as MAC weekly honorees. Dyer's record-breaking time trial not only further etched her in the MAC and Toledo annals, but her NCAA "B" time also put her in a fortuitous spot as the NCAA Championships approach. Her time currently ranks 10th in the nation. Dyer and the Rockets will look to keep up their stretch of great performances as they host Bowling Green Friday night for senior night, and then travel to Oxford, OH on Saturday to take on Miami (OH).
