Women's Tennis Drops Match at Miami

OXFORD, OH - One day after shutting out the Ball State Cardinals, the Toledo Rockets ended up on the other end of a match, losing to the Miami RedHawks by a score of 7-0.
Maha Guirguis and Martina Wodzinski were able to nab a win in the No. 1 doubles spot and keep the Rockets from being swept in the match. Guirguis and Wodzinki defeated Miami's Stephanie Danesis and Megan Martzolf by a score of 8-2. It is the duo's fourth straight win in No. 1 singles and the second consecutive match they have won in the Mid-American Conference. UT's top duo is now 9-2 this spring and haven't lost a match they've played in almost two months.
The Rockets' regular season will wrap up next Friday at home when the Midnight Blue and Gold hosts Northern Illinois at 1:00 p.m. at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts. This will be the final regular season match for senior Jenny Belsky.
