Toledo, OH - The Toledo women's tennis team remains undefeated at home defeating Butler 7-0 this morning (Feb. 25). The Rockets are now 7-1 on the season and have shut out five opponents.
Back to their normal line-up today, the Rockets won doubles allowing only six points in three matches. The No. 3 team of Jenny Belsky and Sarah Horning won their match 6-0. In singles play the Rockets didn't lose a set all day.
Freshman Martina Wodzinski and Nadia Zoubareva are still both undefeated in singles play this season. Wodzinski competed at her normal No. 2 spot winning 6-3, 6-2 and Zoubareva, who moves positions, competed at No. 4 today winning 6-3, 6-3.
"I was really proud of the way the girls played today," said Head Coach Tracy Mauntler. "They were hungry and they played with a lot of intensity."
Toledo has finished their indoor season and will head south to Florida for spring break March 4-7 where they will play Temple and Florida Gulf Coast.
