Bloomington, IN ? Toledo's women's cross country team finished in twelfth place out of thirty with a point total of 340, while the men's team came in 29^th place out of 30 with 874 points. The women's team was behind Akron, Miami and Ball State from the MAC.

For the women's team, leading the way was junior Renata Volf who came in 24^th place with a time of 21:47.47. Behind Volf was senior Nicole Camp coming in 66^th place and a time of 22:44.79, with senior Jennifer Spieldenner next in 72^nd place (22:51.97). Freshmen Karen Sovacool came in 84^th place (23:02.60), Sarah Neubacher in 94^th place (23:10.20) and Joni Camp in 103^rd place (23:17.07). Junior Erin McGowan came in 121^st place with a time of 23:33.82.

On the men's side, leading the way was senior Adam bernal in 156^th place and a time of 34:45.65. Following him was freshman Barnaba Kiprotuch in 162^nd place (34:59.10) and junior Alfred Lagat in 163^rd place (34:59.51). Also running for the men was sophomores Darren Flickinger coming in 194^th place (36:43.25) and Joel Koxlesky coming in 199^th place (37:25.59) and junior Mike Taylor coming in 203rd place with a time of 37:32.77.

Coming up next for the Rockets is the NCAA Championships, which will take place in Terre Haute, IN at Indiana State University on Nov. 19.
