With the win, Toledo improves to 35-2 in its last 37 games in the Glass Bowl.
The victory was the Rockets' first in four career contests against Big 12 schools.

Toledo worked overtime on the third occasion in the last five games. The Rockets are 4-1 all-time in the extra-period contests, including 1-1 this season.
Junior RB Jalen Parmele carried the ball 14 times for 80 yards and two touchdowns, including the 25-yard game winner in the second overtime. It is the third time in his career he has found the end zone on more than one occasion. He also had two scores against Northern Illinois in 2004 and Western Michigan in 2005.
Senior WR Steve Odom finished with three catches for 36 yards and has now caught a pass in 40-straight games, every game of his four-year career with the Rockets.
Senior OLB Mike Alston tied his career high with three sacks and now ranks fifth in school annals with 18.5 career sacks. He also tallied three sacks against UTEP in the GMAC Bowl. Alston also forced a fumble in the end zone, which resulted in UT's first safety since Sept. 9, 2000 against Weber State.
Freshman SS Barry Church returned an interception 84 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. It was the third-longest INT return in school history. Tom Duncan holds the school record with a 93-yard return against Marshall in 1968.
Sophomore WR Nick Moore made his first appearance of the season and caught a two-point conversion in the second quarter. He had missed the first two games with an injury.
Junior FS Tyrrell Herbert picked off his first pass of the season and second in his career in the second quarter. Herbert's other interception came against UTEP in the GMAC Bowl.
Redshirt freshman WR Stephen Williams reeled in a 37-yard TD catch on fourth down and a 15-yarder in the second quarter. It was his first career TD reception.
Senior CB Bo Martin picked off two passes tonight, including one in the second overtime, and now has four picks in his career.
Sophomore RB Richard Davis scored his third rushing TD of the season with a two-yard carry on fourth down.
Junior OLB Greg Hay led the Rockets with a career-best 10 tackles and one pass break-up. His previous high was nine stops vs. Buffalo in 2005.
The Rockets punted a season-high 12 times, including seven in the second half. Sophomore Brett Kern averaged 40.3 yards per punt.
