"We're obviously disappointed with the loss. We didn't come up with the plays down the stretch, whether it was a free throw, a loose ball or making a shot. We had too many turnovers and too many breakdowns down the stretch that you can't have on the road. I think that was the big difference. It's a tough loss to take because you're right there and you have to steals some games on the road."

(on the turnovers resulting from being out of control and sloppy)

"There were quite a few unforced turnovers. Players said that they were fouled but you can't worry about that and have to be strong with the ball. We had a lot of balls knocked out of our hands. We got the ball inside but we ended up not getting a shot."

(on the team's slow start)

"I thought Bowling Green came out more aggressive than we were. We didn't cut hard and were standing straight up and down. We got the ball inside but nothing happened. Then after we made a shot and picked it up a little bit."

Junior guard Justin Ingram

(on the team getting only two steals today)

"We didn't play good enough defense down the stretch. They made plays and we didn't. We need to pick up our defense and be more aggressive without fouling."

(on the most frustrating part of loss)

"The whole game was frustrating since we lost. We fought back to tie the game up but then we didn't do anything at the end. We needed to make a defensive stop at the end but Floyd made a big shot. We need every win that we can get."
