"It's a win and it's a win on the road. You have to be hungry to win on the road. It takes great focus to win on the road. To win on the road the first thing you have to do is to get a fast start. You need big plays to take the crowd out of the game. We had two big plays by the defense that gave us momentum."
"Temple has some good players on their team. They kept battling. They never quit."
Quarterback
"If yo ujump on a team quick it takes the heart out of them. But Temple played a good game. They kept fighting and didn't give up one bit."
(on breaking records) "I forgot about it until someone congratulated me on the sidelines. It feels good but I'm focused on team goals. I want to be part of one ofthe best teams that Toledo has ever had in its history."

(on breaking interception for TD record) "I didn't even know there was a record like that. It means something but I have to give credit to my teammates on defense. Without them, I couldn't be in a position to make interceptions."
