Toledo won its 15th straight home game tonight and is 32-1 in its last 33 games at the Glass Bowl. The victory is the fifth-straight over Western Michigan and 11th win in the last 12 contests overall.

Redshirt freshman caught a 19-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter from QB . The TD reception was also Moore's first collegiate catch.

With Gradkowski's 19-yard completion to Moore, the Pittsburgh, PA native moved past Ryan Hujzak into second place on UT's all-time passing list with 7,228 career yards. He finished 25-of-35 passing for 338 yards with three touchdowns and completed passes to 10 different receivers.

It is the ninth time in his career Gradkowski has surpassed 300 yards passing and the 12th time he's thrown at least three TD passes in a game.

Junior blocked the PAT following the first WMU touchdown. It was Bekasiak's first blocked kick of his career.

Toledo scored 35 points tonight in the first half. Through the first two games, the Rockets are averaging 38 points in the opening 30 minutes.

With tonight's victory, fifth-year Head Coach improves to 26-6 all-time against MAC opponents, including a perfect 5-0 all-time against Western Michigan. The Rockets are averaging 46.4 points against the Broncos and their average margin of victory in those five contests is 20.6 points.

When doing a first-half defensive comparison through the first two games of this season compared to last season, the Rockets are giving up 3.5 points in the first 30 minutes this season, while yielding 45.5 points last year. In 2004, Toledo lost back-to-back contests at Minnesota, 63-21, and at Kansas, 63-14.

Senior WR reeled in a 15-yard TD pass from Gradkowski in the second quarter. Lepley finished with five receptions for 78 yards. It was his first TD since he hauled in a 56-yarder against Minnesota last season.

Senior RB carried only four times, but finished with 69 yards and two touchdowns, including a career-long 46 yard scamper in the fourth quarter.
