Recap| Box Score| Notes

Head Coach Stan Joplin

"You have to give Eastern Michigan a lot of credit because they did a nice job and made plays down the stretch. John Bowler came in and did a very nice job off the bench."

"The last play was indicative of how a lot of games have went for us lately. We looked like we were a little hesitant toward the end of the game shooting the ball. We had some shots but passed them up."

"I didn't think we played very good defense in the second half. Both teams scored 47 points in the second half and that's a lot of points."

"The last shot that Ross hit didn't lose the game for us. There were other plays that led up to it. I just had a numb feeling when that shot went in."

"The season still isn't over with the MAC Tournament coming up. I still think we can get on a hot streak because we haven't been shooting the ball that well. We need some people to step up and make plays. We have to stop missing layups, missing free throws and missing open jump shots."

Senior guard Nick Moore

"I don't what the solution is. We've talked about many things and tried many things. It's just very frustrating that for some reason we can't pull a game out at the end."

"I just did a poor job of shooting tonight. I had open looks at the basket and I should have knocked them down. It was just a bad shooting night."

"We have to keep on working hard and not give up. The season isn't over and we just have to go back to work. I think everyone's pretty baffled about not being able to win a close game."

Junior guard Keith Triplett

"It's very frustrating out there to keep losing close games. Everybody's mad about losing these games."

"The season is still not over because we still have the MAC Tournament to play for. You never know what can happen in the tournament if we start winning these close games."
