Team Notes:

* The Rockets are now 2-6 in games decided by five points or less. All six of those defeats have come in MAC contests with UT's only two wins coming vs. Siena and Michigan State.

* Toledo is now 1-10 when not converting on eight or more three-point field goals in a game.

* UT suffered its second loss of the season when shooting 45 percent or better. The Rockets' other loss when this occurred was at St. Bonaventure.

* The Rockets' five losses in February are their most since posting a 3-5 mark in the 1998-99 campaign.

* Head Coach Stan Joplin's record vs. EMU is now 8-8. The Rockets had posted three wins over the Eagles in each of the last two seasons and entered the 2002-03 campaign with seven straight wins over Eastern.

Individual Notes:

* Keith Triplett equaled his season high with 10 field goals. His 24-point outing was his seventh of the season and ninth of his career. He has led the team in scoring in four of the last five games and is averaging 20.4 ppg over that stretch.

* Nick Moore equaled his season best with six assists and moved into second place on UT's all-time games played list with 117, two behind all-time leader Keith Wade (1987-91). He is in 15th place on the Rockets' all-time scoring list with 1,287 points and needs two points to pass Ray Wolford (1961-64) for 16th place.

* Phil Alexander scored a season-high five points and equaled his career best with six rebounds. He also played a season-high 21 minutes.

* Anton Currie registered a season-high six rebounds and two blocks.
