On the last shot:

"We wanted to get to the basket. Keith (Triplett) was playing with a lot of confidence but he just kind of fumbled it a bit. We got a shot but it wasn't the shot we wanted."

"It was a tale of two halves. We got off to a bad start in the second half after being up nine at halftime. It was nip-and-tuck the rest of the way and then we couldn't make plays down the stretch we needed to make. It was there for the taking but we just didn't do it."

"It's frustrating to lose the way we've been losing. We're just not there yet. It's close and we just keep battling. We need to come up with more loose balls. Those types of plays really hurt us and we just can't get over the hump."

"The players are disappointed and rightly so. We just have to keep battling back. The players haven't given up though. They're just disappointed because we did everything we wanted to except for come away with a win."

"I thought we had a really good chance to pull this one out tonight. Unfortunately down the stretch we didn't get stops when we needed them and we didn't hit shots when we needed to."

"Toledo came out and battled and was very focused. They needed this game as much as we did. Stan did a nice job getting his kids to play."

"I thought we were more patient and asserted ourselves more defensively in the second half and made some key baskets. The first half we kind of got carried away shooting threes and that's not our game."

"The way Toledo drove the ball, I thought they would drive down the lane. I would have done the same thing Stan did. Our defense was like swiss cheese, we had some holes and they tried to exploit it, but fortunately for us time ran out."
