Team Notes:

* The Rockets registered 12 steals for their highest theft total in a MAC game this season. UT has 10 or more steals in four straight contests to raise its season average to 7.09 per game.

* After connecting on 5-of-11 three-point field goals in the first half, the Rockets missed all four of their attempts in the second stanza.

* Toledo made less than 10 free throws for the fifth time in its last seven contests.

* The Rockets produced a positive assist/turnover ratio for the fifth time in their last six games by dishing out 14 assists and committing just 12 turnovers.

Individual Notes:

* Junior guard Keith Triplett continued his tremendous all-around play with 22 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals. He is averaging 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 4.3 steals in his last three contests.

* Redshirt freshman guard Sammy Villegas registered a season-high five steals (all in the first half) and tied former Rocket Clayton Burch's school record for most three-point field goals in a season with 55. That total is tied for sixth place in the MAC for most three-point field goals by a freshman.
