* Senior guard Keith Triplett's 29 points equalled the second-best outing of his career. It was his fourth 20-point outing this season and the 16th of his career. Triplett leads the Rockets in points (19.1), rebounds (5.1), assists (3.3), steals (2.0) and blocks (0.4) per game and has been the Rockets' leading scorer in 14 of their last 17 contests.

* Junior forward Kareem Milson registered a season-high 10 points and eight rebounds while matching his career high with 27 minutes played. Milson's eight rebounds equalled the most by a Rocket this year and his double-digit point total was his first since Dec. 8, 2001.

* Freshman forward Florentino Valencia tallied a season-high 14 points by making all seven of his shots from the field in a season-high 24 minutes. Valencia is the Rockets' top producer off the bench with 7.3 ppg.

* Sophomore guard Sammy Villegas extended his streak of making a three-point field goal to 33 games. With 10 points today, he is the only Rocket to score in double figures in every contest this year and ranks second on the team with 13.7 ppg.

* Freshman guard Justin Ingram equalled his season high with six assists while committing just one turnover. He ranks second on the team in assists (3.0 apg) and steals (1.4 spg) and third in scoring (10.6 ppg).

* The Rockets' point total (93), field-goal percentage (52.5), field goals (32), three-point field goals (8) and free throws made (21) each were the second most in a game this year for the Rockets.

* Toledo's bench has outscored and outrebounded its opposition's bench in every game this season and held a 29-20 edge in points and an 11-8 advantage in rebounds in today's contest

* Toledo is now shooting 77.6 percent from the free throw line in its first seven games following its 80.8 effort (21-of-26) in today's game. UT has shot 80 percent or better from the line in four games this year and has outshot its opponent from the charity stripe in every contest this season.

* Head Coach Stan Joplin needs just three more victories to move ahead of Eddie Melvin (1954-65) and five more wins to push past Jerry Bush (1947-54) into third place on the Rockets' all-time win list. His 123-89 record and .580 winning percentage is tied for eighth in MAC history among coaches who have spent five or more seasons in the league.
