Toledo-Marshall Game Notes

* Attendance of 34,900 sets Glass Bowl record and is 5th-largest in MAC history.

* Toledo's 42-0 win tied for UT's largest margin of victory in a MAC game. It is also UT's second largest margin of victory over Marshall, bettered only by the 52-3 win in 1970.

* This was the fourth time Toledo has scored at least 30 points in the first half this season

* This was the third shutout of the season for Toledo.

* Mel Long's touchdown reception ties him with Don Seymour (1972-74) for Toledo career record with 17 career TDs.

* Mel Long's 76 passing yards gives him 1,977 yards for his career, setting the Ut career mark. The previous mark was 1,957 by Don Fair (1969-71).

* Worst MAC defeat for Marshall since 51-0 loss to W. Michigan in 1959.

* First time Marshall has been shut out in 151 games. Last time Marshall was shut out a 14-0 loss to Tenn-Chattanooga in 1989.
