Shelby Tincher is in her third year as Head Coach for the Cheer Program at the University of Toledo. She joined the staff on a full-time basis in July 2024.
Shelby coached Southview Sylvania's Basketball Cheer Program as Head Coach from Winter 2019-Winter 2022 before taking the role as Rossford High School's Program Head Cheer Coach from Fall 2022-Winter 2024.
A native of Temperance, Mich., Shelby received her bachelor of Art Education from the University of Toledo in 2019 and earned her master's degree in education administration from Bowling Green in 2023.Â
Shelby and her husband, Holden, reside in Toledo. Shelby works for Toledo Public Schools in Administration.
