Rowan Haverkamp joined the Toledo Sports Medicine Staff in February 2026 and is working with the Football and Women's Tennis programs.

Prior to Toledo, Haverkamp spent six years at Western Illinois University serving in a variety of roles. She was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer working primarily with the Leatherneck Football program from 2020-21. In December 2021, she was hired as a full-time staff member providing care to the men’s basketball program. In the summer of 2024, she transitioned to the role of Head Football Athletic Trainer.Â
Haverkamp earned her Master's of Kinesiology from WIU in May 2022. She received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Iowa in 2020. While at Iowa, she worked primarily with the men’s basketball and football teams as an athletic training student.
Haverkamp is a native of Iowa City, Iowa.
