Kiana Young joined the University of Toledo sports medicine staff as an assistant athletic trainer in July of 2022. Young primarily works with the softball team.
For the past two years, Young worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for Toledo, working with recreational sports, marching band, dance team, and ROTC program.
Originally from Santa Cruz, Trinidad and Tobago, Young received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Georgia Southern University in 2020, and earned her master's degree in exercise science from Toledo in 2022. She is a certified athletic trainer in the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
