Josh Dittman has served in his role as senior associate athletic director for development in 2022.
Dittman oversees all operations of the development office, including annual giving through the Rocket Fund, leadership giving by way of the 1923 Society, premium seat sales in both the Glass Bowl and Savage Arena, and any special fundraising initiatives through special events, Varsity T Club, and Downtown Coaches Association. He also serves as the sport administrator for men's golf and women's golf.
Dittman began working at Toledo as an intern and a graduate assistant in the athletic development office before assuming a full-time position in the summer of 2012 as an athletic development specialist. In 2015, Dittman was promoted to assistant athletic director for development and premium seating. In 2019, Dittman was promoted to associate athletic director for development.
Dittman is a member of the
National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and The National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD).
The Toledo, Ohio native went to nearby Anthony Wayne High School. Dittman earned his bachelor's degree majoring in Sports Management from Trine University in 2010 where he was a former NCAA athlete and his master of business administration from The University of Toledo in 2012.
Dittman and his wife Laura have two sons, Jarrett (“Jett”) born in 2020 and Kaden (“Kade”) born in 2022.
