Cassie Alcala joined the Toledo women's tennis coaching staff as an assistant coach in August 2025.
Alcala ia former Rocket great, amassing 177 career victories from 2020-24 and helping the program win two Mid-American Conference regular season titles. Alcala also assisted in winning the program's first-ever MAC Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. She was a three-time MAC Player of the Year (2022, 2023, 2024), a four-time First Team All-MAC honoree and named MAC Tournament MVP in 2024.
Alcala spent the 2024-25 school year as a graduate assistant coach with the Northern Illinois women's tennis team, helping the Huskies finish runner-up in the MAC.
Alcala earned her Global Masters of Business Administration from Northern Illinois in 2025 and a bachelor's degree in human resource management from the University of Toledo in 2024.
