Trevor Sisson was hired as Toledo's Diving Coach in July of 2024.
Sisson came to Toledo after serving two years in the same position at Georgia Southern University, following stints at Bryant (2021-22), Davenport University (2020-21), and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (2014-17, 18-19).
In his two seasons at Georgia Southern, Sisson coached Karlee Wells to four Sun Belt Conference finals. Wells competed at two NCAA Zone B Diving Championships and set the school record in the three-meter (six dives) at 319.05.
At Bryant, Sisson was named as part of the 2022 NEC Diving Coaching Staff of the Year. Before his time with the Bulldogs, Sisson served one year at Davenport in Grand Rapids, Mich. He served four years at Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he mentored several WIAC finalists including Sierra Becker who was a four-time national qualifier and earned All-American status in 2015.
Sisson was the diving coach for Edgewood and Monona Grove High Schools (2018-20) where he coached a three-time WIAA Division II state champion, had multiple state qualifiers and earned WISCA Division 2 Boys' Dive Coach of the Year for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.
A native of Madison, Wisc., Sisson competed at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2010-13, where he was a Horizon League Championship finalist and was named UW-Milwaukee Men's Diver of the Year as a freshman. He graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from UW-Whitewater in 2021.
