Alex Lovato has been a member of the University of Toledo sports medicine staff since July 2018. She works directly with the women’s soccer program, and also provides coverage to the men’s and women’s golf teams in her role as Assistant Athletic Trainer. In addition to her clinical duties, Lovato coordinates coverage for all UT Athletics summer camps.
Prior to joining the Rockets, Lovato served as an assistant athletic trainer for the Fresno State women’s basketball team.
A native of Toledo, Ohio, Lovato earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Toledo in 2015 and her master’s degree from the University of New Mexico in sports administration. Lovato is a certified athletic trainer in the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
