Jason Hardy

Jason Hardy is in his first season as a graduate assistant with the Rockets in 2023-24. He spent the second half of the 2022-23 season as a coaching intern. Among his many duties as a graduate assistant, Hardy will serve as the team’s video coordinator and assist with individual and team workouts.

Hardy assisted with the Rockets during their MAC Tournament and NCAA Tournament runs last season, helping the program in several areas, including breaking down film and scouting opposing personnel.

Prior to arriving at Toledo, Hardy was a student manager for the University of Idaho men’s basketball program for three seasons. While at Idaho, he also co-founded the Idaho Sports Management Club and earned multiple Dean’s List nods as a student.

Hardy is involved in other basketball ventures as well, such as serving as an instructor for Point Guard College (PGC) Basketball and helping run CourtSessions, a basketball consulting business. As a Certified Teacher for CourtSessions, Hardy’s work focused on player, coach, and team development.

Hardy, who hails from Hazelton, Idaho, earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Fitness, Health, & Human Performance from the University of Idaho in May 2023. Both of his parents have basketball coaching experience and his father is a high school athletic director and boys basketball coach.

When not on the court, Hardy enjoys being outdoors and is interested in fishing, camping, and hiking.
