Erin Fankhauser enters her second season with the women's basketball program in 2021-22. She handles the program's social media accounts and produces digital content for the Rockets.
"Erin will be an outstanding addition to our staff," Cullop said. "I have known Erin and her family for many years. Not only is she an outstanding person, but she is also very creative and talented. She will help us with photography, videography and graphic design as well as helping manage our Toledo Women's Basketball social media pages."
A Holland, Ohio native, Fankhauser attended Notre Dame Academy and recently graduated from Calvin University with bachelor's degrees in graphic design and film & media. Fankhauser played two seasons at Calvin after a successful high school career at nearby Notre Dame Academy, where she played with current Rocket Mariah Copeland. Outside of sports, she has worked with local company Toledo Metal Spinning, using her photography and graphic design talents to help them update their website.
"I am so excited to work for the University of Toledo Women's Basketball Program," Fankhauser said. "I have gone to Rocket games ever since I can remember, and I have always looked up to Coach Cullop. Being a part of Toledo Basketball has always been a dream of mine, and I can't believe it is coming true. I am also looking forward to being involved with basketball again. After deciding to hang up my jersey my sophomore year at Calvin University, I put all of my focus into my graphic design and film skillset. I am looking forward to being around basketball again and working with the Rockets."
