University of Toledo Athletics

Aaron Wass is in his fifth season as an assistant athletic trainer for the Rockets.

Wass came to Toledo after serving four years as the athletic trainer for the football and women’s basketball programs at the University of Findlay.  Prior to this, he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Eastern Michigan for two years (2015-17) where he worked with the football program and earned his master’s degree in exercise physiology.

A Hudsonville, Mich. native, Wass graduated from Cedarville (Ohio) University in 2015 with his bachelor’s degree in athletic training. During that time, he worked with the Yellowjackets’ men’s basketball and baseball programs in addition to completing an internship with the NCAA Division II Central State University football program.
