Joey Schrichte joined the cross country and track & field coaching staff in August 2022. He will serve primarily as the assistant men's cross country coach and the assistant director of operations for the women's track & field program.
Schrichte came to Toledo following a four-year stint as a coach for the cross country team and track & field distance runners at Montezuma-Cortez High School in Cortez, Colo. He coached alongside Bob Archibeque, who is one of the best high school track & field coaches in history for the state of Colorado.
Born and raised in Suwanee, Ga., Schrichte graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing from Georgia State University in 2009. He has a Level 1 certification with USTF and Road Runners of America.
Schrichte and his wife, Katie, have been married since 2020 and have one dog and one cat.
