Scott Phillips is in his second season with the Rockets as an offensive quality control coach assisting with quarterbacks. Phillips joined the Rockets after serving as the assistant director of scouting and wide receivers coach for the Hula Bowl in 2021-22. He still currently coaches quarterbacks for the Hula Bowl. In the 2023 game he coached NFL draft pick and Rose Bowl MVP Sean Clifford of Penn State.
Phillips graduated from Ohio State in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He owns a real estate company as well as Guarino’s Restaurant, the oldest restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio.
